At many points of our lives, there are always those moments where we think it simply couldn’t get any worse. Then comes death. For Martin (Burn Gorman), coping with the afterlife is a huge challenge. He is the type of person who tries his hardest to keep himself out of trouble, but the harder he tries during his stay in purgatory, the easier it is for trouble to find him. Martin is forced to team up with Rash, an often annoying yet unabashedly hilarious partner, to find a “new arrival” who has gone missing. Writer/director Zam Salim constructs a beautiful, touching, and darkly witty comedy about the value of life and death.
