Taking out the trash, one jerk at a time. Loveless, jobless, and possibly terminally ill with a brain tumor, Frank (Joel Murray, The Artist; Fred Rumsen on TV’s Mad Men) has had enough of the downward spiral of America. A soul-crushing cacophony of stupidity surrounds him, from his neighbors’ ignorance and bawling baby, to the mindless water-cooler chat of his idiot office mates, to a workplace act of kindness that blows up into sexual harassment. He finally snaps watching the nation unite in the communal ridicule of a simple-minded contestant on an American Idol-like television show. With nothing left to lose, Frank takes his gun and decides to off the stupidest, cruelest, and most repellent members of society. Joining him is an unusual accomplice: 16-year-old Roxy (Tara Lynne Barr), an intolerant high school student who shares his sense of rage and disenfranchisement. From stand-up comedian and subversive director Bobcat Goldthwait (Sleeping Dogs Lie, World’s Greatest Dad) comes a scathing and hilarious attack on all that is sacred in the United States of America.
