Mitch Parker, a typical Dungeons and Dragons-playing geek, still lives at home with his unhelpful mother and an abusive sister. An English teacher by day, he takes the usual amount of ridicule from the students and faculty. That is, until push becomes shove when several students brutally attack him after school hours. Afraid to confide in his few friends and the authorities, Mitch takes revenge into his own hands with the help of his student Maddie. She has a close relationship with the leader of the bullies and brings a lonely and broken down Mitch into her dark family and (not so popular) high school life. WUSS brings back together director Clay Liford and lead actor Nate Rudin from last year’s FFF hit short, “My Mom Smokes Weed,” along with an amazing supporting cast including Tony Hale (TV’s Arrested Development, The Informant) and Alex Karpovsky (Lovers of Hate, Tiny Furniture). A pitch-black comedy, WUSS offers a deliberately inappropriate reminder that not much changes from high school to adulthood.
