The list of films shot in the Sunshine State is longer than you’d think, and some–CITIZEN KANE, MIDNIGHT COWBOY, and DONNIE BRASCO–may surprise you.
And what about the films inspired by and set in Florida? From SCARFACE to STRIPTEASE, THE COCOANUTS to CAPE FEAR, ANY GIVEN SUNDAY to ADAPTATION, it is clear that la Florida has served as the muse for a multitude of movies.
Now it’s your turn. Turn you mind’s eye to a personal experience or memento that is stirred by this wondrous state and its varied bounty. How many facets appeal? Which locations call out? When and with whom does the tale unfold?
