Now in its sixteenth exciting year, the Florida Film Festival showcases the best American Independent and Foreign Films. Produced by Enzian Theater, the Festival has become one of the most respected regional film events in the country.
Past years' guests include Oliver Stone, Gabriel Byrne, Famke Janssen, Jason Lee, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Leelee Sobieski, Steve Buscemi, Campbell Scott, William H. Macy, and John Waters. Festival seminars have included such film industry notables as Mike Medavoy, Bingham Ray, Allison Anders, Oliver Stone, Victor Nunez, Tom Prassis, Richard Shamban, Bob Berney, and Blair Witch creators Dan Myrick and Ed Sanchez; cinematographers Haskell Wexler and Bill Butler; animators Bill Plympton and Corky Quakenbush; screenwriters Shane Black and Ed Neumeier; and producers Gale Anne Hurd and Roger Corman.

The Festival includes narrative and documentary features and shorts, animation, midnight movies, and a full array of educational forums, glamorous parties, and other special events. The Florida Film Festival not only prides itself in delivering the finest in independent film, but also the filmmakers who make it all possible, creating a casual interactive environment like no other. Last year more than 100 filmmakers and special guests attended the 10-day celebration.
